YourTagasalo ng Taranta
I am LeeLai, your certified "Tagasalo ng Taranta."
My first experience in organizing/coordinating weddings happened in 2009 when my good friend Mye (the Bride) asked me over the phone regarding tips on where to buy wedding related stuff (souvenirs and gowns) and bugged me about DIY wedding invitations and possible wedding photographer for the allotted budget, with an excuse that she was helping her cousin who is about to get married (at some point I was not convinced that it was her cousin's since some of the details like the color motif and kind of wedding ceremony to be held were more likely hers than anybody else.)
True enough, exactly one week before the wedding, I received an early phone call from Mye asking me to attend her-so-called-cousin's-wedding on August 15 so that I'll be able to see the output of the ideas I imparted. I simply refused and told her that I have no business whatsoever on that event. Then she blurted, "Pumunta ka beh, kasal ko yun."Shock was indeed an understatement.
Upon coordinating and hosting for Mye's wedding, I discovered my inner passion to organize events, particularly weddings, for I guess I share every girl's (well mostly every girl's dream) of wearing white and walking down the aisles. At first, everything was just a labor of love (and wedding gift at the same time) for friends and family members who wish to make their dream weddings a reality. Years of engagement in this passion lead to the commencement of Tried & Tested Events.
Guess you're asking, so what happened to Mye's wedding? Click here to see the continuation of Mye's story and my other projects.
